COPPA & Children's Privacy Notice

• We collect your child's first name and age. That is the complete list.
• We never ask for a last name, date of birth, email address, school, home address, full ZIP code, photo, or voice recording.
• Children do not have their own logins. Everything lives under your parent account.
• We never sell children's information or use it for advertising.
• You can review or delete everything about your child at any time.

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) governs how online services handle personal information from children under 13. BrightlyWired is designed for parents, and the parent is the account holder — but because you enter limited information about your child and your child may use the practice games on your account, we follow COPPA's standards for that information.

• First name — used only to make the app feel personal to your family.
• Age — used to set the right difficulty for practice games and to shape suggestions.
• Practice results — scores and session data from games your child plays while signed in to your account.

You can use a nickname instead of your child's real first name. Nothing on the site depends on it being accurate.

• Last name or full name
• Date of birth
• Email address, phone number, or any way to contact them directly
• School name, teacher name, or class
• Home address or full ZIP code
• Photographs, video, or voice recordings
• Precise location
• Persistent identifiers used for advertising

Only to run the features you asked for: personalizing practice, adjusting game difficulty, showing you progress over time, and giving Coach ACE enough context to answer about your child rather than a generic child. We do not use it for advertising, we do not share it with data brokers, and we do not sell it.

Coach ACE and the AI tools are parent-facing. They are designed, worded, and gated for adults. Children use the practice games only.

• Review: ask for a copy of everything we hold about your child.
• Delete: ask us to delete your child's profile and practice history, and we will do it within 30 days.
• Stop collection: delete your child's profile and we stop collecting anything further about them, while keeping your parent account if you want it.
• Refuse: you can use the screener, the guides, and Coach ACE without ever entering a child's name.

To exercise any of these, email support@brightlywired.ai from the address on your account. We verify the request comes from the account holder before acting on it.

Our infrastructure providers (database, hosting, email, payments) process data on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes. Our AI provider receives the parent's messages to generate coaching replies; we do not send your child's practice history or profile to advertising networks of any kind.
