Privacy Policy

BrightlyWired is operated by MindSpring Innovations Inc. ("BrightlyWired", "we", "us"). This policy covers brightlywired.ai and every tool on it — the parent screener, Coach ACE, the practice games, the AI tools, and the guides.

• Account information: your email address and, if you provide it, your first name.
• Screener answers: the responses you give in the parent screener and the resulting attention profile.
• Coaching conversations: the messages you send to Coach ACE and our AI tools, and the replies you receive.
• Purchases: what you bought and when. Card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store them.
• Usage information: pages viewed and features used, so we know what is actually helping.

Deliberately as little as possible. We ask for your child's first name and age only.

We do not ask for and do not want your child's last name, date of birth, email address, school name, home address, full ZIP code, photograph, or voice.

If your child plays the practice games while signed in, we store their scores and session results so you can see progress over time. Those results are attached to your parent account, not to a separate account for your child. Children do not have their own logins on BrightlyWired.

• To give you a personalized attention profile and practice suggestions.
• To let Coach ACE respond with your child's context instead of generic advice.
• To save progress so you can see what changed over weeks, not just tonight.
• To deliver purchases and send the emails you asked for.
• To keep the service secure and to improve what clearly is not working.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not build advertising profiles of you or your child.

We use a small number of service providers, each bound to use the data only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Anthropic — the AI model behind Coach ACE and the AI tools. Conversations are sent for processing to generate a reply.
• Stripe — payment processing for purchases and subscriptions.
• Resend — transactional email such as receipts and download links.

We do not send your child's information to any of these providers beyond what is needed for the feature you are using.

We keep your account information and your child's profile for as long as your account is open. Delete your account and we delete the account, your child's profile, screener results, session history, and coaching conversations within 30 days. Purchase and tax records are kept as long as the law requires.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure provider. Access is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfect, so we minimise what we hold in the first place — that is the strongest protection we can give your child.

• Access: ask for a copy of everything we hold about you and your child.
• Correction: fix anything inaccurate from your account settings or by emailing us.
• Deletion: ask us to delete your account and your child's information entirely.
• Marketing: unsubscribe from any non-transactional email using the link in the footer of that email.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with privacy statutes have these rights under state law, and we honour them for every user regardless of where you live. Email support@brightlywired.ai and we will respond within 30 days.

We use cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as whether you have already seen a game tutorial. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

BrightlyWired is an educational support for parents. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nothing here creates a clinician-patient relationship. Information you share with Coach ACE is not protected health information and is not covered by HIPAA. If your child is in danger, call 911. For mental health crisis support, call or text 988.

If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and email account holders before the change takes effect.
